WE MUST BE WILLING TO LET GO OF THE LIFE WE HAD PLANNED, TO HAVE THE LIFE THAT IS WAITING FOR US. Just some random notes about my cancer journey and my life in general. Anyway – this is my journey, one I never thought I would take. I've often thought of this: "If it weren't for cancer, I'd say I have the perfect life. If it weren't for cancer, would I even realize this?"

Notes from the Edge
I recently read on The Wellness Warrior site, “Being told you have cancer is a massive shock and it is incredibly difficult at times, but it is also a huge wake up call. As tough as it is, dealing with a serious illness gives you the unique opportunity to make the most of the here and now. As someone very wise once said to me, “Cancer is a gift wrapped in a shitty package.” The only way to get through it is to keep smiling and take one day at a time.”
