I got this email from a friend today:
"Jan lost her battle with that horrible disease cancer, around midnight on Tuesday,
November 8th. As Hospice promised, she died comfortably and gently with husband Aaron at
her side. She'd been hospitalized since last Friday with her family and friends standing
costant vigil.
We thank all for their prayers throughout this long ordeal, but ask continued ones for
her 16 year old daughter, Amanda. It's been and will be very hard for her as she's lost
her best friend.

Beth is my former boss and gave my career in HR a jump start when I was in my early 20s.
She took a chance on me and I will be forever grateful to her.
She was a mentor and friend and my heart goes out to her.
Jan, her daughter, was younger than I am but our daughters are close in age. Please say an extra prayer for Amanada today - she lost her mama way to soon.
The last time I saw Jan was 17 years ago when I gave her all my maternity clothes and she was so happy to be pregnant. The things we remember....rest in peace Jan.
One day there will be a cure .....
